Cherry Glazerr are from Los Angeles, CA and their frontwoman Clementine Creevy has been called a feminist punk icon of our time. The bands second full-length album Apocalipstick was released early this year and met with more or less critical praise.
The Guardian describes Apocalipstick “pitched somewhere between early 80s post-punk and synthy guitar pop” and says that there is a lot to love. It’s fresh and cool. Listen. And go see them.
